JOSEPH RICH has been a practitioner and teacher of Kundalini yoga as taught by Yogi Bhajan since 1998. Joe is a KRI (Kundalini Research Institute) certified teacher with a degree in health care management, a background in counseling emotionally disturbed inner city teens, running group homes for at-risk youths, and working as an epidemiologist for the CDC.
As the founder of Pacific Coast Ayurveda and the Center For Applied Consciousness, Joe has been working closely with and referring clients to many of the foremost Ayurvedic Physicians and Researchers for over almost a decade. Joe guides each person on a journey that is personalized to their specific issues, challenges and aspirations, helping them recognize, understand and own the transformation and insights that begin unfolding out of the practice and the experiences it engenders. His work focuses on a holistic view of the individual and his/her “health” – spiritually, physically, and psychologically.
MADISON MADDEN serves as the clinical practitioner at PCA, where she offers Nutritional and Lifestyle Counseling, Ayurvedic Herbology, and is the Director of Panchakarma (deep tissue detoxification) and other Mind-Body and Somatic Therapies. She believes in the body’s inherent ability to heal and thrive, and that true healing comes from the inside-out, requiring a whole-body, whole-life approach.
Madison is a Certified Ayurvedic Wellness Practitioner, Trained Birth Doula, Certified Massage Practitioner, Somatic Therapist, and Movement Educator. She has a BA from The Colorado College, where she received an Interdisciplinary education specializing in Therapeutic Movement, Education and Sustainability. She studied Ayurveda at Kerala Ayurevda Academy in both Los Angeles and in Kerala, India where she spent time as a clinical intern at multiple Ayurvedic Hospitals and Wellness Centers.
LISA WIENEKE-RICH is a KRI (Kundalini Research Institute) certified Kundalini Yoga Teacher and certified Pilates Instructor who has been teaching for 14 years. Through their yoga center, Center For Applied Consciousness, she and her husband, Joseph Rich, facilitated their first Teacher’s Training Certification program in Kundalini Yoga this past year and are committed to helping people establish and deepen their own unique practice as a path to balance and wellness.
Her focus is guiding people through the self-generated experience that yoga is to access the innate knowing through which all change emerges, and harness that with the tools of the practice to carry out into all aspects of their lives.
VICTOR BRIERE has an Ayurveda practice based on the belief that a healthy body and mind are the pillars for a life full of spirit and joy. True health is the bi-product of a conscious life. As an Ayurvedic Practitioner Victor's aim is to teach you the principles of health and guide you towards balance that can be self-sustained and generated from the inside-out.
Victor was born and raised in Los Angeles. His love of Kundalini Yoga lead him to Ayurveda. He studied Ayurveda at Kerala Ayurevda Academy in both Los Angeles and in Kerala, India where he spent time as a clinical intern at multiple Ayurvedic Hospitals and Wellness Centers. He continued his education by learning the diagnostic art of ayurvedic pulse reading with Dr. Vasant Lad, and Dr. Suhas Kshirsagar.
